I joined KISS with a remit to make it famous.
I spent my first day in a tethered balloon looking down over a waking London. From that chilly vantage point I could see patterns emerging from the early morning commuters. I used my observations to create a new kind of breakfast show, perfectly tuned for a young busy waking city.
The result was a multi-award winning radio station. The breakfast show was voted in the top three most influential radio programs in the UK by Guardian readers. The station won every award it entered and tripled the audience in under a year.
We captured the youth market through massive community engagement. The story-lines and stunts we ran created a huge listener up-take, as they went viral.
